Angela gained access to the storage facility at the Museum of Natural History and fell in love with the bird "study skins".
These stuffed birds aren't intended for display so they lack the fake eyes but somehow personalities are expressed on their faces.
The backgrounds are created using symbols and shapes translated from various tales of folklore and mythology surrounding the individual bird.Displayed in vintage oval frames, these portraits are both attractive and sombre. |
